This is because Wizkid was publicly praised by Don Jazzy following his endorsement of Ayra Starr’s sophomore album, ‘The Year I Turned 21,’ which Starr had signed with Jazzy.

In order to promote the record, which was released on Friday, Wizkid had used his X handle.

“Superstar [love and eagle emojis].” Wizkid wrote beside the album’s cover and streaming link.

“Thanks Big Wiz [eagle emoji]” was the caption that Don Jazzy used when reposting Wizkid’s tweet.

The signee of Wizkid, Ladipoe, allegedly mocked Don Jazzy in an X post for saying that “hip hop is dead,” prompting Wizkid to shade Don Jazzy, according to sesothomp3.

“Lol, never chatting with anyone signed to an influencer,” Wizkid said after a fan pointed out the post that the musician had made. Following that.

Two of his tweets imply that he mentioned Don Jazzy, boss of Mavin Records, as an influencer, which he retweeted.

Many famous people, including sketch creators Mr. Macaroni and Nasboi as well as reality stars Doyin and Tacha, were furious that Wizkid had “disrespected” Mavin CEO Don Jazzy with his covert shade.

“I unfollowed Wizkid on Instagram,” Don Jazzy said in response.
