Evra praised the Portugal international, saying he faces obstacles head-on and isn’t scared.
The former France international made the following statement when speaking with the Portuguese news site O Jogo:
His quality has been on display even when the squad has struggled.
“No matter the situation, he never backs down from a challenge; his physical strength is second to none.”
“In my opinion, these are the most important qualities for a fullback to have,” he continued. Plus, Diogo is a wonderful human being and an exceptionally modest young man.
