Dorcas Shola Fapson, better known by her stage as “MSF,” is a media personality and actress in Nigerian cinema. She has spoken about a boyfriend who rejected her after learning that she had a mother she lost when she was young.
Recalling their conversation, she said the man had informed her he wouldn’t date someone from “a two-parent household.”
The most recent episode of the Bahd and Boujee Podcast, which is co-hosted by actress Moet Abebe and reality personality Tolanibaj, featured Ms. DSF.
When she informed a guy she had lost her mother when she was a child, he declared he could never date her, which she described as the most bizarre thing anyone had ever said to her.
He made it clear that he will not date anyone who did not grow up in a traditional nuclear family. I get it, but might it have saved my mom’s life? Am I to blame for that?”
Presenter Moet Abebe shared that she, too, had been through something similar.
Something similar has been said to me previously, so I can relate. He, too, had a single parent who raised him. So, he claims he was against having a child with someone who had a similar background. I didn’t think that was a credible justification, Abebe remarked, even though it was his excuse.
