With a goal from Matt O’Riley in the 35th minute, Celtic took the lead.
Not long after the restart, John Lundstram made a spectacular own goal.
It wasn’t long after that before Dessers got Rangers back in the game.
Celtic, managed by Brendan Rodgers, have jumped six points clear of Rangers in the standings.
Subsequently this month, the two sides will square off once more in the Scottish Cup.
